A well-organized ceremony marking International Nurses Day was held today in Hargeisa, organized by the Somaliland Nurses and Midwives Association.

The event honored the vital role nurses play in delivering healthcare services across the country. Outstanding nurses from different regions of Somaliland were also recognized and awarded for their dedication and exceptional service.

The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Minister of Environment and Climate Change, the Director of Hargeisa General Hospital, the Taiwanese Ambassador to Somaliland, other government officials, and distinguished guests.

The celebration highlighted the important contributions of nurses to strengthening the healthcare system and improving community wellbeing in Somaliland.
